SB'S HISTORIC COURTHOUSE

SANTA BARBARA’S HISTORIC COURTHOUSE

Perhaps the city's most recognizable landmark,
this circa-1929 structure illustrates the beauty of
Spanish Revival architecture. Although it functions
as a working courthouse, the building welcomes
visitors to view its impressive details. Among them
are murals, tile work, beamed ceilings, decorative
painting, ornate woodwork, and wrought iron fixtures.
Other notable features include manicured, sunken
gardens and a distinguishing clock tower that affords
amazing views of the city, ocean and mountain views.

ALICE KECK PARK

The Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens contains a gazebo overlooking a pond and a 4.5-acre botanical garden landscaped with native ground covers, trees, shrubs and flowers.

BUTTERFLY BEACH

Personally speaking, Butterfly Beach is one of our most gorgeous beaches in Santa Barbara.  The west end of the beach (by the cliffs) is ideal for weddings as if has low foot traffic.  If you are having an smaller, intimate wedding this is the beach for you.

Beach weddings in front of the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel are highly discouraged as there is too much foot traffic and no set ups are allowed.

SANDY BEACH

Sandy Beach is one of Santa Barbara’s hidden jewels.  It's a stunning beach situated below Shoreline Park (Shoreline Drive & La Marina).  It boasts very little foot traffic and is ideal for you if you are evisioning a very private and intimate wedding.  Set ups are discouraged as there are 82 steps you have to climb and down to access the beach.

Sandy Beach is only accessible during low to mid-tide situations.  Low tide promises a dramatic beach with protruding rocks and is quite beautiful.  If you would like to check the tides for your wedding day, please click on the following link:
