This building still functions as a working courthouse and welcomes visitors to view its impressive details. Among them are murals, tile work, beamed ceilings, decorative painting, ornate woodwork, and wrought iron fixtures. Other notable features include manicured sunken gardens and a clock tower that affords amazing views of the city, ocean, and mountains. All this provides stunning backdrops for wedding photography. This completely unique venue is suitable for both small and large weddings. There are several gorgeous ceremony sites within the Sunken Gardens to choose from.

Our Santa Barbara Courthouse Wedding Package includes:

  • Officiant - Delivers a joyful, customized ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. 

  • Wedding Planner - Guidance with selecting the best location in the Sunken Gardens and the optimum time of day for your ceremony. Assistance with booking the ceremony site. Scheduled planning meeting, one hour in person, by phone, or via Zoom. Provides wedding ceremony timeline. Supplies preferred vendor list with best recommendations for dining, wedding cakes, accommodations, makeup/hair services, transportation, activities, and video.

  • Wedding Coordinator - Works closely with you and your guests on the day of the wedding. Ensures that the ceremony receives personal attention, is memorable, and flows flawlessly. Supervises event staff, set up, decor install, and breakdown.

  • Professional Photographer - Captures the memorable moments of your special day for up to two hours. Edited photos to share with family and friends. Delivered via a digital transfer.

  • Professional Event Staff - Delivers event equipment, sets up/breakdowns chairs, assists with decor installation, supervises foot traffic during the ceremony, and assures cleanliness of site.

  • Live Music - Guitarist or Violinist. One hour of music for your wedding covers guest arrivals, processional, recessional, and post-ceremony. Other musical genres may be available upon request.

  • Bridal Bouquet and matching Boutonniere - Exquisite floral design using the freshest seasonal flowers from local growers in whites and off-whites. Hand-tied with a quality satin ribbon.   • Chairs - White padded resin chairs for 20 guests. Flowers and greenery provide festive decor for aisle chairs.

  • Signage - Printed sign on a decorative easel with your names and wedding date.

  • Guest Welcome Table - Six-foot table with linens, decor, umbrella with stand, 30 assorted beverages

  • 6200.00 tax inc.

    The site fee is not included in the package. Permits are required for the Sunken Gardens.

    Confidential Marriage License - Catherine Forester, event planner and notary public, is certified to issue marriage licenses in Santa Barbara County. The fee includes notarizing & filing all documents, 1 certified copy of the marriage certificate 425.00
